The event Previously, the Central Agricultural Trade Fairs (CTR) were held under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Last year, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Development and nine provincial governors joined the ranks of patrons. Lubelskie province was the main regional partner. The trade fairs became the venue where all entities which collectively make up the “agricultural market” come together. We have organised a number of accompanying events and conferences in cooperation with leading agricultural organisations and local governments.
Last year’s trade fairs featured: 4th Beef Sector Forum and 2nd European Young Farmers’ Forum, “Rural Poland” National Association of Village Leaders, Polish – Kazakh Agricultural and Food Industry Forum as well as numerous seminars and subject specific panels. More than 300 meetings with foreign delegations were held within the scope of the Hosted Buyer programme. These included meetings between representatives from Algeria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Lithuania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Brazil and Vietnam and Polish agricultural and food industry producers. 340 exhibitors and more than 19 thousand visitors took part in the trade fairs. Nearly 70 thousand sq. m. of floor space in three exhibition halls will be available for exhibitors to present their products and services at the 2018 Central Agricultural Trade Fair. Both private and business customers will be able to look for products and services of interest across a number of subject specific areas. These will include Agricultural Technology, Agricultural Production Agents, Good Food, an Animal Exhibition and AGRO Industry Consultancy and Services saloons.
The lead theme of this year’s trade fairs is the presentation of state of the art technological achievements within the scope of farm management. “Farm of the future – modern technologies” is a zone where our clients and partners will be able to present their latest solutions for the agricultural industry in two model farms – one with a plant production profile and the other with an animal production profile. Equipment and solutions necessary in the performance of given high tech production processes will be presented within the scope of two comprehensively arranged farms.
